Overview
Snug allows multiple renters applying together to create a single Household Application. The process involves a Primary Applicant initiating the application and inviting others (Secondary Applicants) to join.
- Invitation Timing: Secondary Applicants receive their email invitation only after the Primary Applicant submits the initial application.
Steps for the Primary Applicant
- Log in to your Snug account.
- Navigate to My Applications.
- Select the desired property application.
- Click [Add Applicant].
- Enter the email address and mobile number for each Secondary Applicant you wish to invite.
- Complete and submit your application. This triggers the invitations to be sent.
Steps for the Secondary Applicant

Accept Invitation:
- Click the link in the invitation email received from Snug.
- Alternatively, log in to your own Snug account, go to My Applications, and locate the application showing an “Invited” status.
- Register/Log in: Ensure you have your own registered Snug account. If not, sign up at Join Snug.

Complete Profile: Fill out your Snug renter profile. Follow the on-screen prompts. Completing the ‘Essential’ section is typically the minimum required by property managers.

- Submit Application: Once your profile is complete, review your application details within the household context and click [Submit Application]. You’ll receive on-screen and email confirmation.
Viewing and Managing the Household Application
After submission, both Primary and Secondary applicants can view the application status in My Applications, including:
- Who has been invited but hasn’t submitted yet.
- Who has successfully submitted their application part?
- The Primary Applicant can also edit the Household to add or remove joint applicants/occupants if needed (before final processing by the property manager).
Frequently Asked Questions
Can’t find the invitation email?
- Check spam/junk folders. Verify that the Primary Applicant used the correct email address.
Duplicate applications created?
Need to swap Primary/Secondary roles?
- The current application must be withdrawn. The intended Primary Applicant then needs to start a new application and invite the others.
Already started a separate application, but want to join an invitation?
- Yes. When submitting your individual application, if Snug detects an invitation matching your email/mobile, it will prompt you to join the existing household application. You can choose to join or keep your application separate.
Can the link be resent to co-applicants?

Log in to your Snug account and open your Draft Application. - Scroll to the Household / Co-applicants section.
- Click the "X" or "Remove" button next to the co-applicant who isn't receiving the link.
- Save/Update the page (this is a crucial step to "clear" them from the current session).
- Enter their name and email carefully and hit Send/Save.
- Make sure the primary applicant applied to share the invite to your co-applicants. If the Primary Applicant has already submitted, the co-applicants should check their Snug Dashboard directly. Even if the email gets lost in a spam filter, the invitation should appear as a "Pending Task" or "Action Required" the moment they log in with the email address you used to invite them.
