Waiting to hear back about your rental application? Here’s how ballots work and how you can check your status on Snug.
What is a ballot?
A ballot is a process used by property managers or agencies to fairly select applicants for a rental property. If your application is part of a ballot, you’ll be notified once the ballot is run.
How to check your application status:
- Log in to your Snug account at app.snug.com.
- Go to My Applications from your dashboard.
- Find the property you applied for and check the status.
If the ballot status is blank, it means the property manager or agency hasn’t run the ballot yet. Once they do, your status will update automatically.
What happens next?
- You’ll receive an email notification when the property manager or agency makes a decision.
- If your application is successful, you’ll get a confirmation email with the next steps.
