When you upload documents to Snug (like ID or proof of income), you might notice you can’t view the file after uploading. This is intentional and helps keep your information safe.
Why does this happen?
To protect your privacy, Snug hides sensitive documents after you upload them. Only the property manager or agent reviewing your application can access these files. This means your personal information, such as identity documents, stays secure.
How do I know my document was uploaded?
- If your document appears in the list and there’s no auto-deleted message next to it, it’s available for the agent to view.
- If you see auto-deleted beside the file, it means the document was removed, and you may need to upload it again.
Who can see my documents?
- Only the property manager or agent handling your application can view your uploaded files.
- You cannot view or download the document after uploading, but rest assured, it’s securely stored for the agent’s review.
What if I need to check my upload?
- Check the document list in your application. If the file is listed without an auto-deleted note, it’s all set.
- For extra peace of mind, you can always contact Snug Support.
